Daisy has a very scurfy patch behind one of her knees. its a bit crusty but you can't really see the skin through the feather. I washed it with hibicrub. Do you think it might me mites or does it sound fungal?

Do I need to be getting some pig oil and sulphur?

You have answered yourself, yes time to join the P&S club.

Cairo gets this despite all I do. The P&S controls it and almost elimates it, but if I stop, then he builts up a crust which starts just under his knee and can run down the back of his leg. He never gets anything else anywhere since I have used P&S. Chancer never has had it yet.

Mix them up and paint the area and rub well into the skin - remove any white gold or it will end up black first.

Another tip, take 1 tablespoon of sudo cream, 1 teaspoon of sulphur and 5 drops of teatree oil - mix together and rub into the crusty area. Do this every day and after a week rub off any loose crust. Wash with a little warm water and hibi scrub and repeat - normally gone within 2 weeks max.

If you have feather gets a bit messy but just leave it. No need to cut it away - makes no difference in this area whether you have feather or not - Cairo has had it with clipped legs and full feather.

Where do I buy it from? I had a look on heavy horse supplies but surely in those quantities it will cost a fortune to post?
