Scurfy skin

Can anyone help. My boy has really scurfy skin at present and is constantly scratching.

He has no lice etc. Have been advised to feed him linseed oil, but he is on a diet following vets orders so don't want to overdo it.

He lives outside, as he has had chronic bronchitis and is in a light rug.

All ideas gratefully received

i fed d-itch by NAF and linseed oil to a pony with this problem, coat improved no end!

yep definately linseed. give a handful of boiled every day and in two weeks you will notice the difference. it will keep him warm too

Feedmark's equidermis although pricey is excellent for scurfy itchy skin.

Cheaper option is to try instant linseed - gold label do it or you can get it from Simple Systems.
