Help again lol - after hearing the 3rd horror story of the yard Im at now i'm looking for a new yard around Maidstone/East Malling area....either DIY/Part etc

If i could find somwhere cheap enough I may even be able to keep Star so come on people, help please

Why don't you try a different approach - ring up local farriers and instructors etc and apologise for ringing but ask if they know of anywhere... they may go to smaller places that don't advertise?

I'm guessing you've tried tack shop adverts?

What about doing a wanted ad?
 
i think i may be a little too far for you but am SE and kent - im in chelsfield junction 4 on M25 or off A20 junction before Frogpool Manor !! (orpington)
 
Our last stable wasnt even empty before it was taken. The lady hasnt found a horse yet tho so if for any reason she doesnt have it i will pm you.

We are hartlip off the A249 we have 16 acres for 10 horses and a rubber and sand 20x40 school. Stables very rarly come up ( i had to wait for 2.5 years for one ). But should the stable become free and depending on how many you want i will let you know as i think im more your area.
 
What are the horror stories? Am intruiged! Will ask B for you when i see him later on... we've just had 2 people join us on grass livery so will see what he says!

Well im sure it would defamatory for me to say too much - just stories of horses being left out when meant to be in, not being fed what they said etc....
 
We have rules too follow basic rules for everyones safety.Rules like

NO horses EVER to be left out alone
The first person on the yard to feed etc etc.

I had to call the emergency vet out a few months back as another liveries horse came down with colic. I stayed down with the horse as the owner had gone out and forgotten her mobile. I was with the horse for 3 hours before i was happy to go home at 11.30.

We are DIY / assisted @ £25.00 a week with 24-7 summer turn out if you want it but horse come in at night from oct-may.

We have a school and jumps and a private farm for hacking and good riding in the area too. Hay/straw/shavings all supplied on site etc.

I will pm you some pictures and if your interested i will speak to the y/o and ask him to tell me if the lady decied to to go ahead and buy.
 
oh thanks hun its not finished yet so much more to do !!!

do 5 day part livery and full 7 day - livery depends on you and horses needs i dont beleive in charging everyone the same !!

for a 16.2ish horse out all day, on shavings part livery 5 days would be £75 plus you buy your own feed !!

most of my liveries buy there own feed as then they can feed what suits there horse best !!
 
Thanks for that - pretty good price. Just had a look at directions and it would be a bit far out for me at the moment as im the other side of Maidstone and work in East malling...hmm will keep it in mind tho

well as i said hun if you need to get out quick and its only for a few weeks until you find somewhere more suitable then let me know !!!

I know its a pain trying to find good livery yards !!

Hey, didn't ask last night as i didn't make it to the yard got tied up with shopping and sorting out holiday stuff - exciting!! Want me to ask tonight or is it gonna be too far away for you?
