Has anyone used sealtex wrap for there bits??? My horse has a very fleshy mouth and i have read up about sealtex and wondered if it is any good??

Oh. Whats wrong with getting a bit that fits or those mullen-mouth ones?

Just had a look, and tbh, I would worry about accidental swallowing but as a bandage, it looks good.

Sealtex is very good - for preserving synthetic bits, eliminating rubs and making a metal bit more acceptable to a horse that prefers synthetic

It makes the bit fatter by default (albeit just a mm or so), so if you are referring to fleshy mouth as being little space, it won't work. If you mean fleshy lips that rub, then it will as you can make a loose ring eggbutt with this stuff.

yes he has fleshy lips and is very sensitive horse with any bit, tried happy mouths which i find worse...had him in a mullen mouth black rubber pelham which was ok but it was to thick in his mouth...i only want to put it on the corners.

I see. Sorry :) I would follow Jen_Cots advice... good luck, hope you find a good solution :)
