So proud of my boys yesterday!
Impy (6 year old) came 7th in the Workers, jumped a cracking clear and was commended on his jumping ability. Spoke to Guy Landau after the class and he said he gave the best ride of the lot but unfortunately couldn't place him any higher as he makes a slight noise. I had noticed this this year but not been to worried about it, but after speaking with Guy i was really worried so have now planned to have him scoped and checked out mid season instead of the planned end of the season.
Frazier (4 year old) came 5th in the Show Hunter Class, beating of some top competition. He was awesome, gave me a lovely ride, very obediant and a real cool customer in a very busy class where he was ridden by the judge and striped and trotted up etc. On speaking with the judges after they all agreed he had a top future in what ever he does but were keen not to place him too high as he wouldn't be ready for HOYS this year due to his age and they all said how impecably behaved he was for a 4 year old. Bless him!
All in all a great day, 2 rosettes from 2 young horses in HOYS qualifying classes - not bad considering we don't do showing!
