A girl at my yard uses regimate on her 4 yo mare ? bit moody whens she 'coming on' (but who isnt lol). What are the effects, can it cause long term damage, and do you think it is correct to stop your mares season ? (at least i think that was it does correct me if i am wrong not 100% sure).

I guess I'm very lucky with my mare as when she is in season she is not really a problem. She either becomes a little stressed and will call to her stable mate or completely switches off. Oh and she's always weeing!! To ride she's about the same as usual.

Other than that her temperamet doesn't change and she is still a sweetie.
