I have only just got back on board after almost 6 months of little riding. I am particularly noticing my left seat bone. Yes, it is a little sore but it more the fact that I feel like it is bearing more weight than my right. I am much stronger on my RHS, more leg muscle etc and a tendency for my right hip to twist forward. Any ideas? Is it just a case of adjusting the stuffing in the saddle seat? am I just not yet riding fit? or will it be my hip? I guess it is probably a combination of all of the above but if anyone has any bright ideas I would be grateful. Pony is having vet physio lady in tomorrow, unfortunately I don't think my chiro is up and running again yet.

The vet physio might be able to suggest some stretching exercises for your hip/legs. I am guessing your right leg might be more forward than your left if your right hip is twisting forward.

Book a session with a pilates instructor who specialises in riding. They will assess you off and on horse and work specifically on the areas that need rebalancing. Mine uses bands to work one side more than the other whilst riding.
