I'm about to put my clippers on ebay for sale and I'm not sure what reserve to put on them, they are heiniger 701-842 medium duty ones so can clip a few horse at a time but not the seriously heavy duty ones. I bought them new 3 winters ago for £260ish but the new horse doesn't like the sound of them (going to have to get lister cordless ones!) so I'm having to sell them

they have only been used lightly but have one scuff on the handle. Two sets of blades newly sharpened will be going with them...
Any suggestions on how much they are worth?

I would expect to get £150 for them if they are only a couple of years old.
I sold my old Wolsleys a few years ago and got over £100 for them and they were about 10 years old.
I bought the Lister showman cordless to replace them, but I couldn't say they were that quiet.
I think though that they have improved the Listers since I bought mine, they may be quieter now.
Have you heard a set of the Lister's running?

Thanks for the info, I think I'll set the reserve at £100 and see how crazy the bidding gets

Tho YO has a set of lister cordless clippers and my horse is willing to let me near her with them, she still not 100% happy but I'm hoping a few good experiences and she'll come round to my way of thinking!
