Second hand clippers

Would you buy second hand clippers from ebay? From what I've heard Liverymans should have a good shelf life but I don't want to buy them if it would be a false economy.

I've just sold a super set of Lister Laser clippers on e-bay. They were in excellent condition and had just had a full manufacturers service. I was selling them as I don't do as much clipping as I used to so I didn't need a heavy duty set and had bought a pair of the battery Lister Liberty ones.

I put a 'buy it now' price on them and they were bought the day after I put them on.


There are definately genuine bargains to be had but the usual care needs to be taken on e-bay as there will always be someone somewhere trying to get one over on you!!
