Second Hand Hunt Jacket?

Where can I find a good one? I keep bidding for them on ebay but they either go for REALLY silly money or I lose out in the dying seconds.

I need a 36" in navy or black so I'm obviously a popular size - any ideas where else I could try?

Ask around your local hunt, often someone has a second hand one from their younger days, that's how I got mine

Do any of your local tack shops sell secondhand? I bought a lovely one from mine.

Also look out for any table top sales - especially ones organised by the local hunt

Google "secondhand riding equipment" or something similar; I found mine in a tack shop in Yorkshire that does quite a lot of secondhand stuff. It would be worth the time spent on the phone as you might get lucky by ringing round.

Calcutt and Sons nr Andover used to have a large selection of second hand hunt jackets, even side saddle habits - they took my old ones. I don't know if they still have this facility but it is worth asking them and maybe worth the drive.

Yup Calcutt and Sons still run a huge second hand department, at least they did when I went up there in 2007.
