Second hand saddle! Help!

Right I don't want to go against rules or anything so here goes!

If you were to sell a second hand saddle , say around 5 months old, and the purchase price was £895 is there anyway of knowing how much it's worth- hard to can't compair it with others on the market as its the model up- cant find a single one of the model I have advertised for sale. Even the saddler it was purchased off didn't have a clue how much it was worth now! 😳
Should I take £50 each month I've owned it!!? Arghh!
Hope I haven't gone against rules or anything, just don't want to give it away, or have a rediculas price on it!

This is from a buyer's viewpoint:

A saddle will always drop a lot of its new value the minute its been used - same as new cars. This is partly because there is immediately a 'risk-factor' involved, ie how has it been looked after, any unseen damage, etc etc etc.

When I look at a second-hand saddle with a view to buy the first thing I actually look at is the amount and type of use it has had rather than just its age. For example, if yours has been used very regularly for 5 months, however well it has been looked after, the chances are that it will need a complete reflock for a different horse, maybe a small repair or two, and potential buyers will take the cost of that into account.
