Second hand saddles

Hi

where's the best place to look for a second hand saddle?
Blade has a wintec one, but its a mess! Fits him well though so I can still use it for now, but ultimatley I do want to get him a new one (preferably leather) - do you know anywhere where second hand saddles are reasonable priced?

Was looking for a dressage saddle, but I think I need a GP one first

have you tried eBay? There are usually quite a few good saddles listed that are very well priced.

Have a look for a master saddler near you and give them a call, our local saddler always has soem second hand ones and if they are reputable you will know that you have got a properly fitting saddle.

I agree.

I was going to buy a saddle of ebay and I'm glad I didn't. If it doesn't fit your horse you've got no returns! I have a 2nd hand gp saddle and it was the ONLY saddle out of the 30 the saddle fitter brought that would fit him.
