Secondhand sweet itch rugs...

Hi all,

I have two sweet itch rugs which I no longer have any use for, they have a few holes in but am wanting to literally give them away as they are just taking up room, all I would be looking for is p&p. However, do you think anyone would want them? Or shall I just chuck them?

I just sold one on eBay so I'm sure somebody would want them! Perhaps there is a local charity you could donate them to if you want want anything for them? They aren't the cheapest things to buy in the first instance so I'm sure they'd be really appreciated!

I would want them to go to a pony who really needs them as they weren't cheap to buy initially - they are the ones made by snuggy. If no one wants them then I will go to a local rescue .

What size are they? My boy ripped his at the end of last summer. Currently going naked just now but won't be long until I need one !

They are 5ft6 .

I have sold Boett rug with holes, people will buy them and patch ! Easy to patch and wear!

That's unfortunate, my boy is between 5ft9 and 6ft depending on make. I hope someone can get use out of them.

I'd put them onto e-bay or Preloved and say "make me an offer" as you might just get someone who'd like them to use for spares/mending???

I put a couple of light weights on preloved last year as it costs nothing. They went to a woman who had got a mare from rescue. She offered to pay a reasonable price so not a sob story scam and gave me a huge hug when she ended up with 3 spare rugs I had, thought she was going to cry. But don't say free.
