Does anyone know an easy way of finding out what ingredients go into various feeds? I know some feeds list on the bags and you can also ring the manufacturers helplines but there are some that keep it as top secret! I want to be able to compare and contrast conditioning and balancing feeds from a % of nutrients point of view but am struggling to find out the necessary info. Thanks for any advice in advance.

as far as i know they are not allowed to keep it "top secret" all ingredients must be stated on the bag by law. some bags have a label sewn on, some have the list printed on the bags...

Ask Baileys for their balancers comparison sheet. It compares TopSpec, Blue Chip and Baileys Lo-Cal. Quite useful. But as said before, nothing is "top secret" with food (or it shouldn't be)!

That is a fab resource. Painstakingly set up by a member of Saddle Up, it compares the vitamins and minerals breakdown of all known balancers and not just the top 3.
