Section A - Do I plait

My 9 year old daughter is going to her first Pony Club show in July. To give her some confidence she is only entering the very basic dressage class - just walk and trot. Here's my dilema - Pony rubbed underside of tail quite badly a couple of weeks ago and it would show if I plait tail. Can I plait his mane and leave tail or am I better off not plaiting at all. Advice appreciated

I would leave mane and maybe just pull the tail slightly just to smarten it up.

I too would just pull the mane and tail to just give a nice tidy appearance and leave it at that

It's a Section A, do not plait or pull. If any-one wants to know why, tell them you show in M&M classes (even if you don't).

Thanks for that pearlsasinger, I must admit I'd looked at showing photo's of section A's and couldn't see many with plaits. He's a palomino so a good bath the day before sounds a much better idea,
