Sectioning off a 4 acre field?

A my yard me and another livery have share a 4 acre field between 3 horses and they live out, at the moment the grass is just starting to grow through.
The have the whole field open, but I am the only one that really poo picks and it's so hard to do the whole field.
My question is would you section it off or leave it open.
My mum is reluctant to do it as last year we halved the field in December and the half they were in was demolished and took quite a while to start growing through, even though we were in a different field and the one we are in now is a lot better.
So really wwyd?

i had a 1,5 acre field with 2 horses livin gout 24.7 - i wont lie...was bloody hard.

but i was obsessed with sectioning

you can do a paddock track to keep them moving or throw it off into 3/4 fields??


personally i prefer smaller paddocks and rotating and poo picking!

So are you poo picking the other liverys poo? That would really annoy me!

Well my mum has her horse in the field too, but she works full time and only has time on a Sunday to do a couple of borrows of poo, but the other livery only does 1 maybe 2 a week! It is very annoying and I start my job on Monday and will be spending my weekends poo picking! It is getting very annoying! :/
