I'm starting to go further afield with my horsey, endurance rides ect, and need to pack more stuff. Its like mobilising an army!!

My question is (probably daft) but how do you secure items in the trailer instead of them taking up your entire car! I need to start taking buckets and water and poo pickers (plus bucket for said poo!) and extra rugs and feeds - as well as the usual tack and boots and my hat etc... it will all fit in the car if i take up the back seats but will be alot better if i can put it in the trailer but i dont want a box rolling about spooking my horse. I thought of tying the poo picker to one of the rings but i think it will swing and rattle.

Does anyone have an clever storage solution??

I had some additional rings added to the trailer so I can secure a shires tack trolley I my trailer. The trolley has two trays as well as racks for saddles and bridles. I can also secure my water container with bungees.

I have a large garden storage box that lives in the left hand half of my trailer. Rugs, spare tack, mucking out stuff, coralling fencing energiser and batteries, spare coats, slosh bottles, grooming kit, first aid kit.... you name it its in there! Never moves thanks to the two car batteries that live in there fir the fencing. However does have wheels on one end so can be relatively easily dragged out in the rare occasions that I travel a second horse.
