I got a Security camera for Christmas for my stable and have attempted to set it up tonight. It isn’t a reolink but it is very similar.

Anyway I’ve tried to insert the sim and the sd card and gone and dropped the sd card inside the camera head and can’t seem to get it back out 😳 haven’t dared to do the sim in case the same thing happens. It does have little screws so I’m guessing I could probably open it up and get it out but have no idea on screw driver size I would need. they are tiny screws with a cross in them. Not really got anyone to ask currently so hoping somebody may be able to help on here! 🙏

This is where I’ve tried to insert them - assuming I’m doing it in the right place but it looks like it’s here on the instruction manual. It isn’t a specific make so I can’t google it.

Spoke to OH he says possible keep gently rattling to see if you can get it to drop out or use tweezers?
It looks similar to ours so is the right place and is fiddly. Be careful if you unscrew the screws as it may invalidate the warranty.

Thank you, I’ve put it on charge tonight and will have another go when it’s charged up. I can’t even see it, I’m guessing it may be stuck behind one of the wires. Did you get yours in without unscrewing it?!

I guess if all else fails perhaps if I take it somewhere like curry’s they will help me! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m willing to learn but these things don’t come naturally! 🤣

aaaaand it’s up! I must confess my friend helped me put it as she is a lot more DIY savvy than me and I do have a reputation of being heavy handed and was scared I’d break it. I now am w a new hobby! 🤣 don’t think I’ll sleep tonight.

You definitely won't, i still watch mine daily and bore people on the 10000 thread with photos of them. Remember to turn off any alarms you don't want, or the lights to come on and startle them.

I’ve turned the motion sensor off so it doesn’t keep coming on every time he moves. I think I’ve turned the lights off so that should be fine but I’ll check. The only problem I’ve got is I don’t know how to view past data. I’ve got an sd card in there but it is asking me to pay and join icloud to be able to see past history? Do I still have to do this as well as having an sd card do you know?

That's a really good picture. Would you be able to tell me what make of camera that is. I would like to install 2 cameras, one in each stable and one also on the yard looking out over the paddock. Had a quote for this to be done from a company but it was £1,600

Wow! It actually doesn’t have a make on the box. I think it cost about £100 to buy and the app is called ubox. I got it for Christmas but I can ask my friend where he got it from and see what he says and let you know. I think I might have to get another one in the summer for the field!

You will need another for the field..I love watching their interactions. The other day donkey foal was really winding another donkey up, eventually he retaliated so foal went running back to mum who laid into the "innocent" donkey..🤣. Have got so many short videos saved on my phone from it.
Our cheaper cameras cost about £70 and the other one, which I prefer, as not 'split' screen and focus is clearer was only about £95, entertainment has been priceless.

😂😂😂 what camera do you have in the field? I might go for a cheaper one outside and preferably something a bit more portable because then I can move it around when he moves fields. It’s already put my mind at rest because I was worried he was struggling when eating his hay now he’s getting older as he keeps balling up grass in his front teeth(hoping vet tomorrow to come and do teeth) but he appears to be eating his hay fine. 🥰

That would be great if you could find out some details. Many thanks.
