Sedalin and herbal calmers

We have a rescue pony who is terrible with the farrier. We have a brilliant farrier who has been patient with her but its getting to the point now where we have to consider sedation of sorts as farrier has already had to have physio due to her shinanigins! So, my sister has decided to use Global Herbs Supercalm for the next visit. Im skeptical of this as we've used herbal remedies on her with no effect in the past.
So, should the calmer not work, could we give her a dose of sedalin on top of it?
Has anyone had any experience of using Global Herbs Supercalm?

no experience of the calmer in question but you can use a calmer and sedalin at the same time.
