Haven never used sedalin before, i have been reading up on it on here. Now it says that if the horse is stressed already before or at the time of administering the sedalin it wont be as effective. My horse hates being wormed with syringes and as sedalin comes in a syringe she will be stressed before i have started!!
She desperately needs her mane pulling i have tried desensitizing for over a month now, tried a solo comb, scissors everything and nohing is working, she gets stressed, bargy and is a total nightmare so sedalin is my final option before getting the vet out to *properley* sedate her
if i can get it all done in one go then i can move on!!
question 1 - Can it be given in a small feed? also will ask my vet for dosage rules.
question 2 - I believe it can take over an hour to work, horse is living out 24/7 will she be okay to have the sedalin then be turned out then brought in OR does she need the sedalin then be stabled untill it has kicked in?
question 3 - How effective is it for mane pulling (well using a solo comb?) she gets very stressed and tries to squash me when i try and becomes quite a dangerous task!
Thanks
