Had Skye clipped last year and had to have her sedated as it just isnt worth the stress of trying to clip her without

As she was being such an idiot she had to have two doses of sedation to "knock" her out and the vet said that next time it may be worth getting her a sedation that i can give her a couple of hours before the vet comes out so he can just give her one dose but i`ve completly forgotten the name of it so can anyone recommend me one? I really dont want a bill for £130 again this year

QR-I have the same problem so i know how you feel. My horses' regular vet can 'knock' him out in one dose, but last time i clipped my horse it took the vet 3 doses as he was stressed and fighting the sedation. Even at that we only got 30 minutes of clipping time.
I clip because my horse looks like a mammoth and sweats up after 5 minutes if i dont. Oh and he's unbelievably tickly!!

But i agree that sedalin may be worth a try to settle her before the vet comes out.
