Sedation Question

I might be having my boy sedated tomorrow so he can be clipped. I just wondered whether anyone rides their horse the same day their horse has been sedated for clipping?(after it has worn off of course!) The reason I ask is because I am hoping to go hunting on Tuesday and I am work all day tomorrow. My boy hasn't been ridden since yesterday so I didn't really want him to have two days off before hunting if possible!!

Personally I wouldn't risk it, it takes a while for the drugs to be fully metabolised and this can vary from horse to horse.

Having seen the results of people riding horses under sedation I would not risk them or me

No i definately wouldnt ride the same day as a sedation,
