Seeding paddocks!

Is it OK to graze horses in a paddock that has been seeded (just in parts)???

How long ago has it been seeded?
It's OK for horses, but might be not so good for the paddock.

Yesterday - didnt know if poisionous etc?

The grass seed won't do them any harm, I mean, they won't even eat it, but if you don't rest the seeded places in your paddock the grass won't grow as it will be trampled.
