I get to see my two every weekend - during the week day evenings I just get to tuck them up. I always feel like its Christmas day on Saturday and am up at the crack of dawn to see them. I get there for about 8am and don't leave until its dark. I don't know where the time goes! Its been like this since I can remember. I get so annoyed when its Sunday evening and I won't be able to ride or see them properly for another week

Does everyone else feel like that who work regular 9-5 jobs?

Yes! Especially at this time of year. I get to the horse at about 6am, feed him and put him out then come back at about 5.30pm to bring him in. By Friday I have forgotten what he looks like in daylight!
I love the weekends when I can spend some proper time with him.

I used to but I have chosen to change my career, sadly, so that I work for myself (big risk) and now can spend as much or as little time as I like with him. It really means that I can still work things around riding him in the day with others rather than relying on a very unreliable floodlit but mostly flooded school. I dont miss the days of getting there at 6pm and riding in the black and cold.

Yes, its tough, i spend alot of my spare time at the weekend up the yard!
I work full time and do night school too and i feel like i dont see my lovely mare much until the weekend and then i dont feel like its enough time sometimes, so its not just you
