Anyone know the whereabouts of Cassie,Dark Bay mare, white blaze and offside hind foot white. She is 14.1HH Welsh cross aged 25yrs. She was owned by my late father Herbert Hallam (92yrs) of Lyndhurst Stanley Rd Forest Town Mansfield Nottinghamshire. His expressed wish before he died was that I would take care of his horse, but unfortunately he did not make provision for her in his Will. So sadly due to circumstances beyond my control she was found a new home 7 to 10 days ago. At the time she was removed from my late father's yard, she was also separated from my shetland,her companion of 18yrs 'Gemma'. As you can imagine my shetland,who is now with me, is extremely traumatised and is fretting for her mate - not to mention the devastating effect this has had on me as I did competitive carriage driving and long distance riding with her for many yrs. She had been with us for 23yrs.
Initially I thought the worst that my sister had had her destroyed, but after a lot of searching I now know that she is in Melton Mowbray/Leicestershire area apparently 10 miles from Long Clawson. Would very much like to find her again so please post me a thread if you have any information.

I have visions of the 90s Black Beauty film, with both ponies describing their experiences, via internal monologue. Sorry, I know that doesn't help.
