Hi there, dunno if anyone on here can help but I'm on the lookout for a new livery yard in the Leeds area (pref Swillington / Woodlesford / Garforth / Colton sort of area but also may be interested in Shadwell / Thorner area) as am getting brassed off with field management and the small, poorly draining arena at current yard. Looking for somewhere with 24/7 t/o in summer and daily turnout (ideally 8hrs +) in winter where either hay can be provided in fields or rotation is good enough that there's always a bit of something to be munched on. Preferably DIY / assited DIY but would consider part or even full livery if the price was right and they didn't get stuffy about me doing bits and bobs myself. Would like reasonably sized outdoor (ideally with lights but I'm sure I can use a headtorch or something if not) with decent surface that drains well (the odd puddle / boggy bit is understandable as long as the majority of it does remain usable), indoor would be a bonus but not really all that fussed if outdoor is decent (I don't mind rain or wind!). Half-decent hacking also required, I'm not adverse to roadwork and busy roads as long as there are nice bridlepaths as well. Would need storage of some form for tack and tools (ideally storage for rugs and the rest of my rubbish too but could probably work around that if not available). I know I'm a tad picky but would probably be willing to compromise a bit on things like location in order to get the turnout, arena and hacking.
