Met my future YO today, she was a cheery elderly lady with years of expertise in the showing world. My stable is in her back yard where the other boxes are, it is a working farm, the box for the cob has a smaller box attached to it for the shettie. She will feed them their pm tea. Field is okay, fencing could do with a bit of repairing to be safe. She seems nice enough. Lots of places to ride, on the road, thru woods, in the field, only 10mins from home, 5miles away - so why do I feel a tad concerned?

I am dreading telling my current YO who has been an angel for 2 days. Am I feeling like this because it is due to the unknown that we fear the most. Help

What you are feeling is perfectly normal so dont worry too much. Everything will be fine and this move is going to be great for you ... Good luck :D

I so know how you feel. I hate moving yards. The last time I did the new YO found me in tears setting up new electric fence, how embarrassing was that!

You will find your feet in no time.

Good luck

Oh gosh I feel sick and make myself ill with change ,especially where my horse is concerned. It will be fine and what you are feeling is normal, just keep looking at the list of negatives for current yard compares to positive of new!

Yes - perfectly normal to be a nervous wreck at this time.

The new yard sounds lovely, and hopefully the YO will be a lot more reasonable.

Lots of luck x

I just read your post and had to reply...I am feeling exactly the same!! I have a new horse and am now facing yard move to big yard with plenty of scary things about and not sure if he or I will settle well :-/ Good luck for your move, I hope it goes well xx
