SEIB Insurance?

Trying to find the best place to insure our new horse and was wandering about opinions on SEIB insurance?
Gone through the questions and its brought me to a page with a few different insurers - who have people gone with?

Heard good things about SEIB but bit concerned as its different insurers and doesn't seem very expensive!

Been with them for 15 years and had many claims; all of which have been paid promptly. Have 3 horses with them and lorry and breakdown too.

Like all insurers they will exclude conditions after a claim but that's just the equine insurance market.

I used them for a long time in the UK - right up until we moved away and they were excellent, always paid up promptly and without argument. Of course that was nearly 10 years ago and things can and do change

Best company there is! With them 17yr made many many claims totaling over £30k never had a problem

I've used them for a couple of years and they paid up promptly and were pleasant to deal with. However do read the small print very carefully, every policy is different so make sure you know what you are getting.

Been with them years. Never had to claim but they don't jack the premium up randomly like NFU always did. Also they will ask the underwriters about automatic exclusions and use some common sense. I got an exclusion removed by putting my case to them and to be fair they listened.
