Hiya, i have *almost* bought a lorry from him- its being delivered tomorrow. When we went to look at the lorry i was very impressed with it and Andrew has been honest throughout... so far would def recomend him but we shal have to see tomorrow! (I will pm you with outcome!) .
Lots of people have recomended him to me and he is a reputable/well known name. His brother is big in SJ so i know people who know him through that. Tbh i think that his name is too well known and he has too decent a buisness to sell anything duff. I dont trust Horsebox dealers too easily having heard too many horror stories, however have trusted Select!

My lorry came from Andrew a couple of years ago, only problem I had was lack of keys to fit any of the lockers or the grooms doors. Guess that is a very minor thing compared to some horror stories you hear. I would go back if I was in the market for another lorry.

Depends on your budget, but we weren't very impressed with what he'd got to offer for £20k a couple of years ago.
Perhaps it was just a bad time, but the two lorries that were quoted at around £25k were tatty and had a lot of miles on them.
We bought privately eventually, but we were lucky enough to find one that had been well looked after I guess, and OH has some mechanical knowledge, which helped

Wasn't this company the topic of some nasty dealings only a few months ago which involved the courts?
Friend bought a lorry from there.... and it wasn't exactly good!

My lorry came from there, and it's up for sale now as dont use it (lack of time etc etc) PM me if you want details, getting despriate to sell now so open to offers!

Thankies everyone, gut instinct is telling me to steer clear TBH. I notice on the site there is no formal address for their premises or contact address for him which is odd and boxes described as being at various locations? Hmm.
I really, really want a Vauxhall Movano that I've chosen with the help of a tame mechanic friend, to get fitted out myself if anyone's got any ideas.

I bought a lorry from him a couple of years ago and there was a definate lack of keys fitting the doors and locks etc! The lorry has been ok but last year or so when the law changed regarding those little lights/reflectors down the side of lorries I had to get some fitted for the lorry plating as it failed due to not having them. What I didn't realise is that the last time the lorry was plated which was just before I bought it the law had already come in so some how he got it plated without the lights and it passed!
