hi there does anyone know if there is anyone who has a small horse box for self drive hire near Huddersfield

It's not strictly near to Huddersfield but I can tell you through experience there are only two companies in the whole of the north who do it. One is near me, I won't say any more than that but I wouldn't reccommend them at all. The other is Trevelyan who have a depot in Cheshire, it's a bit of a drive but they are really good, no excess mileage and you can collect the night before at no charge. They even let us drop it off late one night instead of early next morning. Put it this way, I live in Newcastle (upon Tyne) and I use them every time, though admittedly I have family nearby.
