Gave my young mare a month off. She was broken early last year, and has worked hard, she then had a full body massage and was given a month off.

Was supposed to ride today and i was SO looking forward to it. It is clear sky, sun out, warm, no wind, dry ground..... yet i've woken up feel like death warmed up, after having slept for 13 hours (most unlike me) head spinning, sweating and shaking.

I am sat here WISHING i had ridden, and debating going up now.... but i really do feel very poorly

there you go, whinge over....

If you really do feel awful, them maybe it's best not to force yourself to ride her today. Maybe you'll feel better tomorrow.

I just feel so light headed, shaky and sweaty, its probably best not to....

Yardowner has de rugged her for the day and will feed and re rug for me later so i'm not worrying about her being "looked after,"
