Self indulgent Post

So my horse is a self mutilating horse

He has been fine for quite a while and not done it but tonight I brought him in and sure enough he had bitten the front of his fetlock and it was yucky.

So I put him a hot poltuice on to make sure I get it properly clean and secured it with bright yellow vet wrap. So there he was stood on three legs waggling his injured leg in the air with a poor me expression as if to say "mum I have a poorly leg"

It was so sweet!

I have to say though I love that feeling of tucking them up at night in a nice clean bed, all rugged and bandaged up. It just makes me feel so happy seeing him so content munching his haylage.

Anyway sorry that was a self indulgent prattle LOL
