Do you have days when you ride that you are so pleased with yourelf and your horse ? I have just had the best hack for a long time. Horse worked and did what I asked him to, he was responsive off the leg, was collected and together and a complete dream.

I felt that I actually rode well aswell, my knee hurt afterwards which means I had my leg in the right position and everything.

Sun was shining, no other horses out, just me and him, was so proud of him. Made me realise why I bought him !!!

That is great to hear. I wish I could post something similar but my hacks so far have always ended with horsey spooking at something or other and me having an "exciting" time.

well done - remember this thought when you have a hard time and remember how good he was. This helped me with mine when had a total confidence crash not so long ago!!

I know what you mean you go home smiling like you have won the lottery lol!!

My boy today jumped fillers and barrels with poles over and am so proud, he used to spook at them not so long ago!! So I will be grinning with you tonight!!
