So I have a brilliant horse, very well schooled and jumps a nice course at 1m20, he is fab and I love him to bits,

However he is really spooky sometimes and I can take him in the school and he is a complete twit! Like spooking running back wards, whipping round and napping, I'd say he's like this twice a week and ok the other 3!

Now my dilemma is he point blank does not hack, he is just awfull and there is no point pushing it as he Wont! And now I'm moving to a yard with a schooling field and school that I'd have to hack too :/

Wwyd sell to a home that can enjoy his schooling and is a better rider than me or keep and let him chill at a quieter yard and just try to start hacking again?

Schooling field may improve his hacking. Are you moving him to sell him? If he's unsettled anyway and you're trying to sell, it may not show his potential. Personally I'd get some help to break the habits and keep. But then again I hate selling, and have only ever sold ponies I've outgrown. If you're not enjoying his quirky ways though sell. There are people out there that live for the quirky ones!

He sounds fab and if you love him like you say it may be worth perservering or maybe some help tackling the problems you are having. Also are you sure the spooking isnt due to an underlying back/muscle issue? Good luck with your decision.

Wasnt moving him to sell, moving closer so horses can be closer to my mums so she can help me when I go away quite alot,
I will have a full MOT done just in case! Think he just knows he's so much better than me!
