I'm thinking of selling my IW 505 and getting a 2nd hand IW 401 as realistically, I don't need a double as I will only ever be able to afford 1 horse and my OH will never ever buy a huge 4x4. I have a lightweight TB and that is the kind of horse I tend to stick too as can't ride anything massive due to my bad hips so will never have humongous horses.
I hate relying on people to tow me so need something that my OH will be able to tow with our normal big car (2 ltr diesel, he has a pre 1997 license so can tow no probs) and for me when I eventually get my driving license and take my towing test.
I'm just wondering what is the best way to sell my trailer though? Is is better through private sales or Ebay? My friend had a nightmare selling her trailer on Ebay due to timewasters.
Personally, I would be happy to do a straight swap with someone who had a 401 and wanted to get a double but don't know if it's the done thing?
Anyone know of any trailer dealers around the Leicestershire area that maybe offer part exchange, etc?
