Selleria Equipe expression jumping saddle adjustment

Hi all,

I have a 2 year old selleria equipe expression jumping saddle and have recently found out it doesn't fit my horse and told it can't be re adjusted in this country due to a foam pannel. However, our local saddler miler and sons took it in for adjustment last year but appear to have done nothing to it to change the saddle but charged us for the readjsutment, so I'm really just confused as to whether or not these saddles can be adjusted? I was wondering if anybody has any past experience with these saddles and knows whether or not they can be adjusted?

They have to be sent back to Italy - that's my understanding anyway....

Some Equipe dealers can adjust them, as I believe it has to have a new headplate put in. However, be careful of getting a none equipe dealer to do anything with the saddle, as it can invalidate the guarantee on the tree.

I would be chasing milners for your money back, and give Byron at Retford a ring, as he is a major Amerigo/Equipe dealer so will be able to advise you what the procedure is

Thanks for your advice...I had a feeling it was going to need sending to Italy to change! Think I'm going to go to milners and get them to do something bout it...although i am reluctant to trust them to fit it right the second time! If all else fails i might send it to Italy just to be sure it's done right!!
