Is so terrible :( Had my mare for 2 1/2 years and it's come to the point where I need to sell her. I have another 2 who I can keep, I have both money and time for them. But I started uni and I just don't have time for the 3.

Had her advertised in local tack shops for about 3 weeks & had no interest so put her in the ad trader and got a call on the first day. Lady sounded okay (obviuosly you can't tell a lot by one phone call) and wants to come and see her at the back end of this week.
I now feel like I won't be able to sell her, my worry is because she is a 'project horse' someone is going to buy her and sell her and she will just get passed around. I know you can't gaurentee anything when your selling but it's really getting me down. I really don't want to let her go but have no time to do her justice.

Totally pointless post, sorry!

Hot chocolate and a chunky kitkat if you get this far.

On the positive side someone may come along who will keep her. I bought a project horse 3 years ago for my daughter and he is here to stay even though she has now given up riding. Let the potential buyer come and see if you like them.

I'm really hoping someone with time and paitence comes along who wants a project but one to keep. I know there are people out there like that it's just such a horrible thing to do. She does have quirks which is why I am making sure I tell people everything about her so hopefully if someone understands all her quirks and still likes her then I know they could be right for her.

I understand the fear of "what if", it's one of the reasons i've never sold Allie :o There's quite a few of us lingering around who are after projects to keep, we're just not as noticeable as those who sell on :D May take a little longer to sell until you find someone you're comfortable with her going to, and that's the way it should be, but hopefully someone will come along who just seems right. Good luck!
