Sorry folks, I don't like the how much posts but....
I'm trying to sell a hunter, 15yo 17hh ex-masters horse, pretty easy ride and advertised at £1800 to reflect his age and the fact that he's not up to full fitness.
Having done a few searches similar types seem to be advertised for £3-5k, now I know we can advertise for whatever price we like, doesn't mean we'll get it but is the low price off putting? Does he seem 'too good to be true'?
Not sold a hunter before or really done much buying & selling so would appreciate some advice please.

If that is all you want for him and feel he is worth then advertise him as an alrounder that has hunted, not a hunter. People 'hunter' shopping will exect to pay alot more and people looking for a general riding horse will spend around your price tag.

Good advice. Anyone looking for a hunter right now would probably want something they could try and take out next week, not have to spend time getting fit.

Also a good experienced horse at that age would put me off as I would expect lots of leg problems to soon be seen, so agree with what others said.
