Does anyone know the best way to go about this, other than eBay?

I have a dressage saddle I would like to sell & wonder if there's a specific website for selling second hand saddles.

Thank you

I'll watch this thread with interest as I have a jump saddle to sell and have just advertised it on horsequest (always been good for horses but not sure about saddles).

I suppose others to try would be the freebie locals like gumtree/preloved

H&H have free advertising for tack under £500, I'm just about to put an old Passier on that. Unfortunately the Jump is more than £500.

Ah thanks guys, I didn't realise about the free H&H website & as I only want £350 for it.

I have sold a saddle on eBay before but it wasn't an easy transaction (or easy to post it ) and my friend had trouble after selling one too, so I was looking for alternatives.

I sold mine via dressageonabudget website. It had been there for 2 months for free with no interest bu then lady phoned, paid and had a courier sent for it all within 48hrs, didn't question the price or anything, brilliant!

I had A LOT of response from my advert on preloved, I also had serious enquiries from my H&H advert.
I can't remember which of the two, the official buyer saw it on though. I think possibly preloved.

P.S When I was looking to BUY a second-hand saddle, I was always looking on Horsequest and NFED, although I ended up buying new.
Somebody was even kind enough to let me borrow their gorgeous saddle on trial for a month, free of charge, so saddler could see it etc however it didn't fit.

I've put it on H&H, preloved & dressageonabudget now so will wait & see. I did look at HorseQuest but couldn't work out how to do it. Maybe I'll have another try.
