As title really! I am considering selling a horse through a Brightwells sale, mostly for ease, well aware that I will lose money on him.

Just wanted and tips or experiences really?

Thank you

I haven't sold through Brightwells but they are my local sale (Leominster) and I would do so if I had to. I've bought from them several times. I think they are one of the better horse auctioneers, the sales usually attract a lot of buyers. The auctioneers are pleasant and helpful and would, I'm sure, be happy to talk you through what will happen.

thank you!

what sort of facilities do they have there for horses to be tried? Or is it not really the type where they are ridden for purchasers? Should i just take loads of photos of him schooling/jumping etc?

ive bought but not sold from there. i saw people riding up and down on concrete, and maybe a little on grass before it was sold and if the horse wouldnt go in the ring it went for next to nothing, despite it being rather terrifying (hence why my lovely then 2 year old waas stupidly cheap!).
