Where would be the best place to advertise a small cart and harness?

Am considering selling the one I have as I no longer have the pony and the cart is too small for the pony I have now.

Will put in the local free ad papers but wondered if there was anywhere else which would be more specalised?

Many thanks :)

is where I look.

But if you suddenly find it's a full size zilco harness and a three phase horse trials carriage suitable for up to 16.2hh pm me instead.;)

Thanks for the above links :) May steer clear of dragon driving (having seen the many threads on here about it )

I will check tonight to see if the cart and harness have grown at all and let you know :D

I bought it for a shetland. Currently have an 11.2 and I think the shafts are too short. Neighbour has offered it up to her 10.3 Sec A and it may fit him (but as he has never been in a cart before we only stood him along side for a rough comparrison) and it looked OK.

Shame you're not selling it next year when I'll have some money- got a 9hh shetland we eventually want to break to harness, but at the moment I have a grand total of £1.76 to offer you :p

I sold mine on eBay a few years ago. Mine were for bigger horses though.

The harness was a cheapy robinsons one and I got most of my money back on that and I had a huge amount of interest in the trap and sold to a lady who arrived with a low trailer to pick it up and paid cash.

If you do go the ebay route, it's worth taking lots of photo's and putting accurate measurements in the listing.

I've sold a couple of sets of harness on Dragon Driving, hassle free sales, you get a good advert with 2 pictures and it only costs a fiver. It's a no brainer.
