I have been looking for a 3ry/4yr SJ to do 1.30/ 1.40. No sucess but then some lovely H&H's sent me links to a fair few hoses that might be suitable - however all the links were from horsemart.

As I have a young SJ to sell, im wonderig ifi should be usng horsemart to sell? Anyone had any experience with Horsmart or know the cost? (looked on website to see but you have to go through n annoyingly long process to find out) Im putting mine up for sale for 3750 if that makes any difference to the cost? She is a poffessionaly bred horse which is why i was going to use H&H.

Actually, could you give me some more details on your horse? I might be interested.

In answer to your question, Horsemart is my go to place for advertising and looking, though H&H tends to have more expensive horses on it and people look for competition horses a lot more on H&H. Horsemart has a lot more traffic as everyone looks there first I think :) Not advertised for nearly 5 years, so no good for costs, sorry :/

Horsemart is now THE website, so I would go with that. When I advertised my mare it cost £20 and I think that was for two weeks.... Might have been four! I got about 30 enquiries! It was brilliant.

Thanks - that great. Im selling a 3yr old just backed by Concorde, be an absolute craker of a horse (very solid/powerfull built) but will only make 16hh. Ideal for those who want to jump to 1.30/1.40m (she might go futher but im not the type of seller to suggest she will do Rio, id rather stick to facts!)

I bought my youngster off horsemart and we sold our lorry a few years back on the site. It was not expensive and, at the time you were not limited in the amount of text you could put on. Also you can add a fair few pics and update/amend the ad when you want.
