Selling my car....advice please!!

My OH is getting a new company car soon so we no longer need 2 4x4s...so we are selling my car....(Mitsubishi Pajero, M reg) I love my car but dont need the 2 towing vehicles!

Do you think we are asking too much at £1695? We are prepared to take a bit less but not much as I need to buy a run around out of the money we get for it. Its regd 94 and has the usual age spots and a bit of damage inside but was like that when we bought it. It will be taxed for 6 months and is MOTd til April next year i think...will check on that!! lol. But fanatstic for towing etc

So what do you all think?? I can post some pictures if it makes it easier to decide if you would pay £1695 for it

I will ask my husband later, but my feeling would be that as the car is 14 years old, you may be asking a little much for it. Also, I don't know if you are aware, but Pajeros don't have a great reputation... that isn't my opinion, though - I don't have one and have only ever been a passenger in one so couldn't say. It may be that that is putting people off. Also, remember we are experiencing a credit crunch with inflation at over 4%, petrol prices are high and people are being reserved about buying high maintenance vehicles.

I just looked on Autotrader and a lot of the Pajeros that are around 94/95 are under 1000
 
i have been going to car auctions lately to look for a small car for daughter anyway..... the shoguns, jeeps, pajeros, terranos etc are making no money at all there was 8yo 4x4's on monday night not even getting anywhere near £1k.
 
Hi, a work colegue of my OH's has same model for sale also an M reg. Hes asking £500 for it but hasnt had any offers yet.
