We have two three year old geldings that are home bred and are going to sell on.
We haven't advertised them anywhere yet so wondered where would be the best place to advertise them or considering that we live in Pembrokeshire and people are reluctant to travel do you think that it would be worth taking them to an auction? They are both SHB(GB) registered - what it the Festival of the Horse sale at Malvern like?

Any advice or opinions greatly received!

If the horse's are what someone may be looking for then believe me they will travel to see them.

Depending on the amount of money you are looking for depends on where to advertise. There are the usual places like Horsemart & for the more expensive horse H&H.

Going to auction is ok for a quick sale but you will realise significantly less than the horses are probably worth. There is also no way you could vet any home they may be going to, invariably they would be bought by dealers.

I didn't put their details in as I wasn't sure if it would be seen as advertising.

They are both by Abraham, one is about 15.2 and out of an Easy Lift mare. The other is out of an ID x TB mare and is around 16hh.
They were bred to do anything really! Easy Lift one should dressage - lovely paces; the other is built more like a show hunter.

I would advertise them on the horsequest website, and the SHB website first, if no luck then I suppose I would try Malvern sales. Ive no experience of it but I have heard that the horses sell for rock bottom prices there.
