I've never been to a horsey car boot sale before.

Do people expect rugs to be properly washed and turnouts reproofed or would a quick hose do?

What sort of prices do people pay for, say, a used heavyweight combo turnout rug with a couple of repairs?

Should I stick a price on each rug that I'm hoping to achieve?

I have some older rugs in quite good condition which are good makes like Fal, Takas etc - would these be better on ebay or at the car booty?

I usually keep all my old/broken rugs to repair other ones. Is it worth taking some of the badly damaged ones too? I usually keep them for buckles and straps but now I have plenty. Obviously I don't expect much money for them!

Thanks

I sold some rugs, all nice and clean, people didn't want to pay even though I wasn't asking much. The stall next to me just chucked theirs out the car, onto the floor. Stinking like nothing on earth, unwashed and filthy - people were fighting over them :eek3: They were selling them for decent money considering the state but still wasn't worth what you'd have to pay to have them cleaned, reproofed etc (unless people were not planning on having them cleaned ?)
