I have sold two saddles on ebay over the past couple of weeks. They were spare ones .I worried like mad when I sold them that the buyers would be disappointed BUT both left lovely feedback and both fitted their horses.
I know its stupid but I just loved reading the feedback.
They financed the wow I bought on ebay which is lovely but not tried on yet, will probably need to be fitted properly

Great isnt it... I sold my two a few weeks back and panicked like mad about them... but both arrived fine and dandy... dont know if they fitted though!

Glad to hear nice saddles are still selling well as I need to put one on tonight, a changearound of horses means that my Bates Caprilli is just too forward cut for the chunky monkeys I have now.

I love ebay!!!

Out of interest, how did you post yours?

I need to sell my Harry Dabbs after Christmas but don't know how to go about packing it up and sending it, presuming it sells.
Parcel Force or courier?

I wanted to send it parcelforce but I would have to wait in for it to be collected,so went to postoffice and asked for parcelforce but she only had one part of the paperwork so took their advice and insured it for £1 on top .think it cost about £13.00 ,on parcelforce it would have been £14.99.Posted Saturday arrived today.

i've recently sold my Isabelle on ebay and after one complete timewaster and me relisting it ,i sold it to a lovely lady who left fab feedback and it fitted her horse a treat,it was a relief as the lady who won it originally was a pain in the a*se from the word go,some people bid knowing full well their not going to pay up. I sent mine by royal mail and put it in a big box, cost £20 next day delivery, mine got to wales by 1pm the next day.

If you wait until Wednesday and offer paypal as a payment method ebay are doing another 10p listing day.

Thanks to Carthorse I listed and sold a Devoucoux on the last 10p listing day. Purchaser has left me lovely feedback and everyone is happy. Had the usual stupid offers for it from people but end result was good. I have some other bits and pieces to list this week.

Just sold mine only got £53, Falcon Hawk, but disappointed, but thats the way it goes, then they have 'paid' by echeque - so god knows how long that will take. Only sold it as I wanted some cash for xmas, not going to get it now until mid Jan. Presumed when I put paypal on the listing it would be an instant transfer.

Next time I do a listing - NO Echeques!!!!!

That is good - I tried to sell my Barnsby jumping saddle on there, listed it twice & it didn't sell, it probably was a bit pricey but it "really has" hardly been used & I wasn't prepared to just give it away, so have decided to keep it.

My saddler has just told me my new saddle is in this week so I will be listing another one soon, it's only a wintec gp so hopefully that one will sell as they are not that expensive to buy new.

I suppose it's all down to the price isn't it.

I sold one a few months ago on ebay and got a really good price. I really worry that something will go wrong, but it is always nice to see people pleased with the items you have sold.
