We're selling our old rice trailer in the next couple of weeks, it is in great condition, floor is good and the inside is basically perfect, however the outside paintwork has faded a bit and is a bit grubby on the roof (there is no rust on it and is very sound), I was thinking of painting it prior to selling but someone said don't paint it as people will think you're hiding something - so your thoughts? to paint or not to paint?
Thanks :)

I think it all depends on what sort of price tag you are putting on it.

You will probably get a little more money if painted & looking smart but you will obviously have spent time & money on getting it looking better.

I don't think people would think you have painted it to hide things, but I have known DIY paint jobs on trailers turning out awful, so it may be better to leave it.
