Will almost certainly be selling my Heather Moffat treeless saddle in the new year on Ebay probably. Has anyone been doing recent research on these? If you have, could you give me an idea of what sort of prices they are? They don't seem to be on Ebay very much. Thank you! (I need to get as much money as possible as have just bought expensive new saddle!!)

Thanks. How do I do that? I've just taken a look at what is on there now and the one closest to mine is the best selling one of the lot (most bids, best price) so hopefully I will get a decent amount of interest. Interesting what you say about saddles on ebay. I'll maybe look at another marketplace.

I was under the impression they sold very well on eBay as I have Fhoenix as one of my saved searches, but have never actually bid as they always seem to go for the £800 mark, and my budget is more like ..er.. £80 lol I can dream!!!

Otherwise maybe try the Enlightened Equitation forum. (or send it to me for Christmas!)

The one I am currently watching is fast approaching £800 - if mine could sell for anything near that I would be delighted. Then I wouldn't feel so guilty about spending on the new saddle! I would like to keep both but that, financially is not an option!!

I'll try the EE forum - thanks.

Sorry I can't send it to you for Christmas! Have a word in Santa's ear!

When you're doing a search, there is a yellow 'column' on the left you can use to refine your search, and one of the options is finished items.
Perhaps treeless saddles have a better market than regular saddles!! Hope you get what you expect for it!

Hi Sue

Just out of interest, can I ask why you're selling it? The reason I ask was that I sat on one last night at Olympia, and I'm interested in getting one. Was it not all it was cracked up to be? I'd appreciate some feedback in them!

In essence the reason I'm selling is because a treed saddle seems to give me more secure support and should enables me to work on the flat more effectively. (I need all the help I can get!) The treeless is very comfy but it does sort of 'wobble' about. Not a problem for a lot of things but difficult for effective flatwork. I noticed also that the treed saddle I have just bought was more supportive for jumping too. Just my own reasons really. Probably more to do with me being a rubbish rider than the saddle! It is surprising how people are polarised about them. Lots of people have expressed an interest and yet others have told me they 'hate' them (often turns out they haven't even sat in one so I don't really know how they can have such a strong opinion!!) Good luck finding one you like!
