how would you approach the subject.

mare will be coming up for sale soon, she has a bsja/dressage record and has done ode pony club etc.

shes can be a pain in the arse, and if not handled right can be dangerous ( shes been on loan to a 14yr girl so not to bad if as i say handled well both ridden and on the ground)

as of october 08 she was off work due to a tendon seath strain. in the end we decided to operate her. she is now 100 % sound and doesnt even have a scar.

even though shes has fab breeding and confo im going to be advertising her at a low price.. this will also reflect her temprement (pmsl shall i give her away?) BUT how do i approach the injury do i mention it in the ad or wait for people to call?

a full vets report is availble and the mare can go back to bsja etc. and she will pass a vetting. but i dont want to miss lead people in anyway, and i also dont want to deal with repeating myself 3 million times over because of selling a cheap horse .. if you see what i meen.

Would put it something like "Pony spent x months off work in 2008 due to injury, but is now 100% sound and would not fail a vetting because of it. A full vet report is avaliable to look at. If you were considering buying her but were worried about her previous injury you would be welcome to speak to my vet about the injury, her treatment and how it affects her"

yes i thought on the phone but then wanted to weed out the not so serious buyers.

i really didnt fancy spending hours on the phone repeating myself,
