Question for all the AI techs and vets - we all know that stallions' semen varies in quality and sensitivity (not only from animal to animal, but from one ejaculate to another sometimes), and that certain extenders will suit certain stallions, but in your opinion, which semen extender has worked best for you? (Please don't mention company names/where you get it from, in case admin deletes the thread as a result).

INRA 96 has been very good for us, as have a couple of the more standard extenders (Universal & Dr. Kenney). I'm about to begin some research into some new extenders from the continent - VMD-Z (Belgium) and Spervital's (Holland) range, including some experimental extenders they have sent me.

What do you reckon?

No complaints about spervital very good and sensibly priced and what we use currently .
Gent didnt get on with and never had any problems with good old Equi-pro.
